<p class="line-clamp-5">Through my acquisition vehicle (Avocet Holdings, LLC), I am looking to make acquisitions of privately held companies in logistics, business services and manufacturing industries. I prefer businesses with stable cash flow, ongoing management (that I can work with) and an established customer base. I have extensive operating experience running my own companies over the past 20 years; prior to that I was an M&A banker and private equity investor on Wall Street. I'm looking to build out a portfolio of operating companies which I can own and to which I can add value. I like to get my hands dirty and dig in alongside capable management teams. Ideal company size would be in the $4 million - $12 million (acquisition price) range, with positive EBITDA of $800,000 - $3 million. Company location is flexible: I live in Maine but am actively looking at investments on the East Coast from South Carolina to Maine.</p>
