As a lead generation platform, we wanted to offer additional features to ensure you are connected to the right investors. We started this business because lower middle market PE is becoming increasingly fragmented. As a result, it is becoming increasingly important to efficiently vet new investors + develop a robust screening process. 

You can now check PEmarketplace Premier which will require interested investors to disclose to you:

• LinkedIn URL - This is essential for efficiently identifying who you are speaking with and understanding the investor’s firm and professional background. 
• Sources of Capital - A thoughtful explanation re: where capital for a deal will come from (i.e., is this a PE Firm with a fund or is this a search fund that already has committed capital?)
• M&A Experience - Deals this investor has closed either at his/her current firm or at a prior job. More and more new firms are being started by former Managing Directors & Principals from reputable firms. This feature will help you identify new emerging firms that are less well-known, yet equally qualified.

For buyers, all PEmarketplace Premier deals will be denoted by the purple heart shown below.
